PBLSi was designed and developed to add highly adaptable, automated barcode label printing capabilities to any AS/400 installation. PBLSi gives end users the ability to modify the design and content of a barcode label without the need for application programming.
Run-time prompting allows the user to view (and optionally add/change/delete) data that will appear on the label, including data not found in the original transaction data
set (e.g. project code, weight).
There are three primary components of PBLSi:
1) Print server software (T.L. Ashford or Loftware)
2) The Label Engine for iSeries and optional Application Interface Kits. The Label Engine for the iSeries is a data-driven rules engine that extends the flexibility of
our labeling solution to conditionally route any label to any printer.
3) The Infor ERP XA and MDCC (Paper-Less) Application Interface Kits provide packaged barcode labels for selected functions and transactions and greatly decrease implementation time and expense.
